The SOS I Have an Auslan Signing Kid in my Class! e-book with
two videos is a 43 page PDF and comes with two downloadable videos.
This e-book is an excellent
resource for busy classroom teachers who do not know any sign
language and has an Auslan signing kid/s in their classroom. There will
be times when the Auslan interpreter or Teacher of the Deaf is not in
the classroom to assist with communication, so this e-book is a
lifesaver for the classroom teacher to quickly find the necessary signs
to communicate with their Auslan signing student/s.
The two free Auslan videos are
available upon purchase of the
SOS I have an Auslan Signing Kid
in my Class! e-book, the videos are subtitled and covers all signs
and phrases in the e-book and is a very useful tool to help you to see how
the signs and phrases are actually signed out.
The first video shows all the signs in the SOS e-book in their normal
pace and the second video shows all the signs in slow motion
which will make it easier for you to practice the signs if you are
new to them.
The signs in the e-book
and videos are from the Victorian state, and includes signs from
NSW and Queensland. If you are from a state other than Victoria
NSW and Queensland,
please double check the signs that they are the same that your state
use. There is also a
free
SOS Video
viewable in this website where you can check how the signs in the e-book are being signed out (both
NSW and Queensland signs are included).
Once payment has been made, an
email will be sent to you in 1 to 3 business days with the e-book
attached or
a Drop Box link where you can download the e-book.

teachers in your school (per school only). Please do not
photocopy or reprint the e-book or videos to be distributed to other
individuals or teachers outside the school, please direct them to this website instead.
