A LOOK INSIDE THE
SCHOOL SUBSCRIPTION ONLINE ACCESS:
The School Subscripton covers:
- Online Access to Students' Auslan Work Space is in www.auslankids.com.au
What is the Students' Auslan Work Space?
- Students create their own Auslan videos using their PC or laptop
- There are three different sections: Plain Video, Video with Image, and Web Page HTML
1. Create a Plain Video
This is a ready-made web page template where students can record themselves and make
an Auslan video (in webM format). The video can be saved and later used for creating an
Auslan Web Page HTML.
2. Create a Video with Image
This is a ready-made web page template where students will be able to easily insert a
picture and record themselves talking about it in Auslan.
The video is saved showing the picture on the left side and the student on the right side,
which will make it easier for the Auslan teacher to assess their Auslan skills
3. Create an Auslan Video Web Page HTML
This is a ready-made web page template where the student can insert their Auslan video
and write about it for display in the school's website portal. The Auslan video and web page html is
saved into a folder and can be given to the school's IT person to display it in the school's website portal.
Cool Ideas: For each Term, you can have students study a particular Auslan Grammar theme, e.g. Depicting Signs.
You can ask students to make their own 1 or 2 minute Auslan video sharing their understanding and exammples on "Depicting Signs"
Have them save the video and create an html.
Save the students' videos and html files in the same folder and give it to your school's IT person to display it in the
school's web portal, in an Auslan section.
School Subscription is for Private Access Only:
