- comparing opinions about culturally appropriate behaviours when engaging with
unfamiliar members of the Deaf community
- using skills such as paraphrasing, questioning, interpreting non-verbal cues
and appropriate vocabulary selection to support elaborated discussion
- discussing and experimenting with ways to strengthen and refine signed texts
to entertain, inform, persuade or inspire different audiences
- exchanging reflections on the experience of using Auslan in different contexts
and situations, comparing challenges or satisfactions and reflecting on how the
same event can be differently experienced or interpreted
